Welcome to EAAERE 2013
Dear friends and colleagues,
We are very pleased to invite you to Huangshan, China, for the 3rd Congress of
the East Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (EAAERE
2013). The conference will be held in Huangshan, Anhui Province, China, on
February 20-22, 2013. EAAERE 2013 will be sponsored by East Asian Association of
Environment and Resource Economics, hosted by the School of Environment and
Natural Resources, Renmin University of China, and co-organized by Environmental
Economics Division of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences. The congress
theme is “East Asia: Innovation and Development”.
Situating in the southern part of Anhui Province, Huangshan is a destination of
the international tourists. The most distinctive feature is that the natura1 beauty of the
landscape matches and associates harmoniously with the historic and cultural signs,
Huangshan Mountain and the surrounding ancient villages are listed as the World
Cultural and Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 1990. Your visit will be a memorable
one.
