暨第四届华人资源环境经济学家夏令营
会议通知(第一轮)
继2007年、2009年和2011年分别于青岛、昆明和杭州举办三届华人资源环境经济学家夏令营之后，环球中国环境专家协会（简称PACE）计划于今年7月在大连市举办第四届夏令营和中国环境经济与政策国际研讨会。现将会议有关事项通知如下：
一、 会议名称
英文全称：PACE 2013 International Symposium on Environmental Economics and Policy in China & 4th Summer Camp for Chinese Environmental and Resource Economists
中文全称：PACE2013 中国环境经济与政策国际研讨会暨第四届华人资源环境经济学家夏令营。
二、 主办与承办
1.主办：环球中国环境专家协会（Professional Association for China’s Environment， PACE）
2.承办：北京师范大学。
3.协办：中国环境规划院、香港中文大学、浙江理工大学。
三、 会议时间与地点
1. 时间：2013年7月14-18日
2. 地点：大连市。
四、 会议主要内容
本次研讨会将围绕新时期中国经济发展和环境保护主要热点问题以及环境经济和政策重要理论方法问题展开，主要包括但不局限于如下议题：

中国生态系统与可持续发展
l绿色经济发展及社会经济环境综合治理
l生态城市建设
l能源及水资源
l气候变化与低碳经济
l资源与环境经济学的前沿与发展趋势
l资源环境保护的经济政策与措施
五、 会议语言
参会论文语言：中文或英文，鼓励英文论文参会。
大会发言：前两日为中文报告发言，第三天为英文报告发言。

PACE 2013 International Symposium on Environmental Economics and Policy in China & 4th Summer Camp for Chinese Environmental and Resource Economists （first round announcement）
Following the successful convening of three summer camps for Chinese environmental and resource economists organized by the Professional Association for China’s Environment (PACE) in 2007(Qingdao), 2009 (Kunming), and 2011 (Hangzhou) respectively, PACE is planning to organize the 4th Summer Camp & PACE 2013 International Symposium on Environmental Economics and Policy in China in July 2013 in Dalian, China. The followings are the preliminary arrangement for this event:

PACE 2013 International Symposium on Environmental Economics and Policy in China & 4th Summer Camp for Chinese Environmental and Resource Economists
2. Organizers and host
l Organizer: PACE
l Host: Beijing Normal University
l Co-organizers: Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning of the Ministry of Environmental Planning (CAEP), Chinese University of Hong Kong, Zhejiang Sci-tech University
3. Date and venue
l Date: July 14-18, 2013
l Place: City of Dalian
4. The major topics of the symposium:
l Ecosystem and sustainable development in China
l Green economic development and integrated social, economic and environmental governance
l Ecological city construction
l Energy and water resource
l Climate change and low carbon economy
l The frontier and developing trend of resource and environmental economics
l Economic policies and instruments for resource and environmental protection
5. Languages
Both Chinese and English will be used at the event though using English is very much encouraged.
Oral presentations: Chinese will be used at day one and two, and English will be used at day three.
6. Paper submission
Papers to be submitted to the symposium should be written in either Chinese or English. The abstract of the paper should be sent to pace2013_dalian@yahoo.cn no later than April 1, 2013
